Jio offers the best 4G Data service across India since 2007. The service started in Ahmedabad and spread all over India. I have been a customer of JIO and to be honest, I’m very satisfied with their service. In this post, we are going to see how to check JIO data balance.

How To Check JIO Data Balance?
The first and easiest method of checking data balance is using the JIO app. Follow the steps mentioned below to check your data balance using the app.
- Open the MyJio app and sign in with your Jio ID.
- Click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the app.
- Scroll down and select “My Plans” from the list.
- You will see your current data balance under the “Balance” section.
Some plans have daily limits which will be shown on the app’s main screen. After using the daily quota your internet speed will be greatly reduced. You can still receive and send Emails and text messages using WhatsApp and other similar instant messaging apps.

Sometimes due to network overload or other technical issues, it may respond with an error response. In such cases, you can wait and try again after a few minutes or use the third and possibly the last option to check your data balance.

Why jio 4g is not working?
The biggest reason behind the failure of jio is the poor network design on a cellular level. If cellular data is going to be more expensive in jio than any other operators, then users are not going to subscribe.
The data price model will never work if it’s so different from the data services of other operators. This could actually explain the huge popularity of 4g networks. When 4g started it was not so much about speed. It was mainly about coverage.
You got 4g coverage almost everywhere, even in dense cities, and the price of it was reasonable. Since then, the price has increased quite a bit (compared to the competition).
And, it’s not so easy to get 4g data outside the cities. It’s very expensive and people still don’t realize it. If jio continues the pricing model, it will never have success, just as in the case of MTNL.
Why jio 4g is slow?
As a person who spent a few times living with slow jio 4g (mobile data), I can confidently say that jio didn’t really invest a lot in 4G infrastructure – what we have is really slow internet in peak hours.
How does Jio benefit from giving out free data?
There are a few ways that Jio benefits from giving out free data. First, it helps to increase the number of users on the Jio network. This, in turn, helps to increase the amount of data that Jio can collect from users. This data can be used to improve the Jio network and to develop new products and services. Additionally, giving out free data helps to increase brand awareness and loyalty among users.
