Samsung Is Releasing 2 Ultrawide QD-OLED Gaming Monitors

As the gaming industry continues to grow, so does the demand for better and faster hardware. With that in mind, Samsung has announced its latest gaming monitor, the Odyssey G8 /G95SC.

This curved monitor is an impressive offering that should give gamers all they need to stay ahead of the competition.

The Odyssey G8/G95SC is a 32-inch QD-OLED curved display with a 3440×1440 resolution. That’s more than double what you’d find on a standard 16:9 screen and offers higher detail levels for sharper visuals and smoother gameplay experiences.

It also comes with, HDR1000 support for brighter challenges and richer colors.

Samsung has also included its Quantum Dot Color technology, which provides a broader color gamut than traditional monitors, allowing players to enjoy games like never before in full 1080p resolution at 4K quality levels.

It also supports Free Sync 2 HDR, providing gamers with stutter-free performance when combined with compatible AMD graphics cards.

In addition to great visuals, Samsung has equipped this monitor with powerful audio features as well. It uses dual 10W speakers combined with Samsung’s Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology to provide rich soundscapes suitable for immersion gaming sessions. Additionally, it comes equipped with three USB ports, two Display Ports 1.4b ports along with HDMI 2.0 port as well as an audio jack port (3.5 mm) so you can hook up external speakers or additional devices.

The Odyssey G8/G95SC doesn’t come cheap though; it retails at $999 USD and will be available later this month from major retailers such as Amazon or Best Buy in the US and Canada respectively.

However, if you’re looking for some of the best visuals available on a curved gaming monitor, then Samsung’s latest offering is definitely worth considering.
